Ok, so I'm a bit of an idiot. (Yeah, 'harhar', I know I left myself open for THAT joke). Anywho, I have a bit of an OCD when it comes to locking the front door. I have to double-check it and give it a little push, just to make sure it is well and truly locked. So, following my regular routine, I gave the glass pane in the centre of the door there a teeny shove. My hand literally went right through the glass, taking flesh and blood with it.
So, in an effort to stop any potential burglurz, I first took the lid from the recycling bin, and duct-taped it to the inside of the door over the hole. Then I folded a cereal packet and duct-taped that over the front of the pane. Seriously, I've duct-taped the shit out of my door. Blue Peter ain't got nuffink on me. Whoop!
